Proposal locking ensures that guests do not go in to make unknown choices/add-ons to their event without you being contacted !It also is a great way to give guests the flexibility to pick their choices and add-ons for a certain amount of time.
How do I enable proposal locking?
- Head to settings → proposal
- Select the display settings drop down.
You will have 4 options for proposal locking:
Proposal locking can also be done on an event by event basis. Within an event, click Edit next to totals to select a custom lock date:
Never lock proposal will keep your proposal open at all times.
At proposal signing will lock the proposal when the guest signs their agreement, and will prompt them to contact you with any changes.
3 weeks before event will lock the proposal 3 weeks before their event date, and will prompt them to contact you with any changes.
2 weeks before event will lock the proposal 2 weeks before their event date, and will prompt them to contact you with any changes.
1 week before event will lock the proposal 1 week before their event date, and will prompt them to contact you with any changes.
Every event in the system will adapt these settings, there is not currently a way to have certain kinds of events lock at different times.
